Engineering grade class R1

• Used for temporary signs in frames, permanent site signage and street name plates.
• Specified to Class RA1 – BS8442 for temporary signs/BS EN 12899-1:2007 for permanent signs.
• Formally known as Class Ref 1 (BS EN 12899) and Class 2 (BS 873).

High intensity prismatic class R2

• Used for traffic management (Quickfit) and permanent signs
• Specified to BS8408 (Microprismatic Standard) and has European Technical Approval ETA 08/0101
• Meets performance levels of BS EN 12899-1:2007 Class R2
• Formerly known Class Ref 2 and Class RA2 to BS EN 12899 and Class 1 to BS 873

Prismatic Diamond grade class 3B and 3C

• Used for permanent signs
• A fluorescent version is also approved for use on traffic management signage (Quickfit)
• Specified to BS8408 (Microprismatic Standard) and has European Technical Approval ETA 07/0272
• Material formerly known as VIP or LDP now has combined improved performance

Avery Dennison OL-1000 (anti-graffiti film)

A premium clear overlay film ideal for protecting traffic signs. Not only can vandalised traffic signs be cleaned, but when printed with a TrafficJet Print System printer, it will also carry the industry’s longest-warranty. OL-1000 protective overlay also offers UV protection to extend the life and performance of signs.

Avery Dennison OL-1200 (dew-resistant film)

A premium clear overlay film designed with a special coating to prevent the formation of water droplets on the surface of finished signs. It was developed to add additional protection for signs used in climates with high humidity along with temperatures just above freezing. OL-1200 protective overlay also offers UV protection to extend the life and performance of signs.

3M POF 1160 Series Clear Anti-Fly Posting Protective Overlay Film

• Protecting sign faces from damage
• Easy to clean

• Durability as per the base sheeting

POF can be used to protect sign faces against damage and deterioration due to natural and man-made causes. 1160 Series has a specially treated surface that is resistant to adhesives as well as paints and marker pens.

They can also be used in combination with additional sheeting to mask out messages on new signs that can easily be revealed by removing the top surface when the time is right.
