Vehicle graphics & branding for commercial fleet operators
The Requirement
A commercial transport operator needed a reliable partner to supply and install partial vehicle graphics across a fleet of heavy goods vehicles. The scope covered branded decals, reflective safety elements and compliant identification markings – a combination that sits at the intersection of brand presentation and regulatory requirement. With a working fleet, the overriding priority was minimising time off the road.
The Challenge
Vehicle graphics on a commercial fleet are not simply a branding exercise. HGVs must carry the correct reflective markings and identification to comply with transport regulations, which means material specification and installation quality are not optional considerations as they affect compliance as well as appearance. At the same time, the client’s vehicles are working assets. Every hour a vehicle is off the road for graphics work has an operational cost, so turnaround speed is as important as quality of finish.
Our Approach
We work across both our Newport premises and on-site at the client’s location, giving us the flexibility to fit around the operational schedule of the fleet rather than requiring vehicles to come to us at a fixed time. Scheduling is coordinated directly with the client’s transport team to make sure work is carried out when vehicles can be released, minimising disruption to the fleet’s day-to-day operations.
All materials are selected for durability and regulatory compliance: branded decals, reflective elements and identification markings that meet the relevant transport requirements and are built to withstand the demands of working vehicles in regular use. Quality assurance checks are carried out on all materials and finishes before and after installation, and post-installation inspections confirm the standard of the finished work before vehicles return to service.
The Outcome
New and rebranded vehicles return to service promptly, the fleet presents consistently, and compliance requirements are met across every vehicle. The combination of flexible on-site fitting, fast turnaround and rigorous quality checks has made the arrangement work on both sides.
